Professional Counsellor & Mental Health Trainer

I am an accredited Counsellor/Social Worker with over 15 years experience working with adults and adolescents. My aim is to help you feel empowered, manage distressing emotions, improve your relationships with self and others, as well as increase your self worth. 

 

With my down to earth personality, I provide a non judgmental, genuine, and empathetic approach with the aim to support individuals and couples. I help people just like you manage your anxiety and build your confidence to follow your dreams and build healthy relationships. 

 

Tailoring evidence-based models of therapies, I will help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique triggers, help to empower you to bring your true most authentic SELF to your relationships. Instead of sacrificing your truth, squashing your inner voice, or succumbing to other people’s values.

I also believe in educating people about the impact mental health has on peoples lives. With a strong belief in the importance of early intervention.

Pre-marriage counselling provides couples with the opportunity to discuss and address any challenges they may be facing in their relationship before they take the big step of living together. Through this service, couples are able to openly communicate their needs and expectations, as well as learn strategies for resolving arguments and handling life's challenges together. Pre-marriage counselling is a valuable resource for couples who want to ensure a fulfilling and successful marriage.

Mental Health First Aid Training 

Mental health problems are common - 1 in 4 people will experience an anxiety disorder and 1 in 6 people will experience depression at some stage of their lives. Throughout the course of a person’s life, it is highly likely that an individual will either develop a mental health problem or have close contact with someone who does.

I am passionate about mental health and empowering everyday Australians with the first aid skills to support people who may be developing a mental health problem, worsening illness or in who are in crisis.

 

Just like physical first aid, mental health first aid will teach how you to communicate and assist someone in  need. You could be the one who makes the difference.
