Nina Sawyer

I'm a qualified Counsellor with more than 7 years of counselling experience working with the unemployed, headspace (young people age 12-25) and lifeline. Plus 9 years experience as a children's and family worker on the Gold Coast including; schools and Newlife community groups.

I believe in the benefits of Mental Health First Aid training; and have seen how participants have been able to apply the lessons learnt from the course in the work environment, as well as their own lives.

My counselling experience with a variety of clients, as well as my own personal experience with mental illness, has given me a first-hand understanding of the impact it has on family, friends and colleagues.

My purpose in life is to help people to grow & change and develop into the person they want to be.
