My life’s journey has taken me down many different roads and life transitions, some have been joyful while others have been very painful and challenging.

I grew up in the Illawarra and moved away in 1989 to a small town in the NT, Tennant Creek, where I had my 2 children (who are now adults, one is married and the other one lives in London). I have lived in four other states until moving back to the Illawarra in 2010 after my marriage of 20 years ended, to continue my counselling education and personal development.

I have settled back home in Wollongong with my new husband and stepson. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, playing games, going to the theatre, comedy, eating good food and drinking good wine.

My previous experiences have given me the privileged to meet people from all different walks of life, giving me over 15 years of professional counselling experience including schools, community programs, employment services, lifeline and headspace and my private counselling practice.

I am an active member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and have my Master's in Social Work and undergrad in Applied Social Science majoring in Counselling.

.

My counselling experience with a variety of clients, as well as my personal experience with mental illness, has given me a first-hand understanding of the impact it has on your wellbeing, family, and friends.

My purpose in life is to help people to grow & change and develop into the best version they want to be. Educate people about mental health and the impact it has on everyone, and break the stigma of mental illness.
